My way of fixing things was to numb the pain by drinking alcohol. So that is what I did. But it didn’t work! The pain was still there.

Born and raised in Huntsville, my mom encouraged me to go to church and seek Christ, yet my dad battled substance-abuse issues his whole life. This ultimately led to their divorce.

Being born and raised in Madison, I had a good childhood with what I would call a “normal” family.

Today, Angela is a new creation in Christ and gives back to DRM by serving as a van driver for the women and children at Owen’s House. She loves her family—her grown twins and four beautiful granddaughters—and is grateful for the DRM ministries and generous donors like you.
