EMBRACING GRACE

“FEAR NOT, FOR YOU WILL NOT BE ASHAMED; BE NOT CONFOUNDED, FOR YOU WILL NOT BE

At the young age of 13 I started stealing alcohol from my parents. As the years went by I started
drinking even more. I used it as a way of escape for being in an 8 year abusive & controlling relationship. It did not help that when my father passed away, and I lost all control. Alcohol became my everything.

But, by the grace of God, I was sitting in a hotel room with all my money spent on alcohol. God said to me that I needed to take a year out of my life to focus only on my relationship with him. I am so thankful for being introduced to this program. It has been a life changing experience being around such wonderful sober women and wonderful mentors. One thing that I will never forget as stated by Re. Marvin is, “it doesn’t matter what I have been through, because I am being lept by the power of God through my faith”.
